October brings a New Born

She looks a lot like lloyd in this picture.  We still can't decide who she looks more like.  I think she is a good mix.

When we were in the hospital we had so many visitors.  John and Bexi came the night we were having Jacey.  They saw our yellow Lexus in the parking lot and pulled into the hospital.  They stayed for a little while while I was in labor.  Bexi was so cute.  It made her nervous to be in the delivery room.  Then in the morning Lachelle, Aunt Carmen, Amber and their kids all came to see us.  a little later my Mom and Dad came to see us. Bexi and John showed up again.  Next Mike Stewart came.  It was so nice to have so many visitor.  A little later in the day Melissa Dave and Addie came.  Everyone traveled so far.  We really felt special.  It meant a lot that everyone came to welcome Jacey into the world.  We have such great families and friends!

This is Lloyds first time changing Jacey diaper.  He was so hesitant.  Once he opened the diaper and saw the black tar that comes out when babies have their first poop.  He thought something was wrong.  He went and got the nurse.  She helped him change Jacey diaper.  He looked so cute.  It was so great to see him with her and taking care of her.  He is such a great dad!

Yep still have the pregnancy mask.  My skin had issues.  Jacey's face was still swollen, but she looked so cute snuggled up next to me.  Lloyd had to take a picture.

The day after I got out of the hospital Donna Mae, Maryann and the kids came down to visit.  That was a long way for them to come.  It was fun to visit with them for the day and show off our little sweetie.

Brad Winegar also came to visit right after we had her.  He loves babies.  He was so cute to watch with her.  We are new parents so he gave us a few pointers.

5 days old
I was not able to dress up for halloween because my basketball hoop and ball didn't work after I had her :) (because I wasn't pregnant anymore)  I also had a dream about this photo.  I could see what I want and accomplished it.  yay! I bedazzled her.  She was an angel for halloween.  She was so good!  I used honey to stick on the scrapbook decals.  she held really still.  I heated up the room to 90 degrees so she would stay asleep.  She was so comfortable.  The picture turned out perfect! Happy Halloween!

She was born October 26th, 2010.  In these pictures she was 5 days old.

My good friend Laura let me borrow this baby sling.  They turned out so cute!  Thanks Laura!!

These hats I bought at a craft fair in Mt Pleasant.  They were made by my cousin Tracey Anderson.  So cute! I know such talented people.

I love this hat!  I know it is around 50 years old!  I got it from my Grandma Stephenson.  I am so glad that she held on to it.  I got a few more clothes and hats from her.  There will be more to come.

I saw this scale at Terrels Market Place and I couldn't resist.  I got up around 5 am to get ready for this shoot.  Bexi came and helped me.  Jacey was 6 days old.  I had never taken her out in the car by myself. when we got to Terrels I couldn't unbuckle the car seat.  usually lloyd does that part.  ha ha how embarrassing.  I had a few people int he store come out to help me get her out of the car seat.  I finally figured it out.  I got her into the store around 6 am.  there were no customers.  My dad came and helped as well.  He set up a ladder for me and helped me plug in my lights and he even shined up the scale for me.  bexi stood back and held the back drop.  it was quite the ordeal.  they turned out great.  Thanks dad and Bexi!
