December

The Stephenson Family Christmas Party was the first weekend in December.  This was Jacey first Christmas and first time sitting on santa lap!  She didn't even cry.  I don't think she knew what was going on :)  She was not even 2 months old yet.

Uncle Mikes family sining for their talent.  Soooo CUTE!

Teri, Nate and Cyndi reciting a poem that they wrote about the family and Christmas.  They dissed Lloyd in it.  It was pretty funny.  Right after Lloyd got up and retaliated.  He came up with a poem off the top of his head to get them back.  He is quick witted.  I wish I could remember what was said.

Mom, Dad and I sang and old country Christmas song.  We didn't practice until the day before.  It was a little rough :(

It was Aunt Jeanette and Uncle Deans turn to be in charge of the Party this year.  They did a really good job!

All the peeps.  Nancy, Janette, Paula, Patsy, Jeri, Mike Grandma LaRue, and Brent

Grandma Stephenson meeting Jacey for the first time.

Lloyd hit a rock in our Lexus it hurt it pretty bad.  He had the insurance take car of it.  The tow truck came all the way to Fairview to get it.

My mom was part of the Fairview Christmas Program.  She was singing with the "time Out" group.  Eileen Cox is their director.  They do such a good job.  Here is a clip of them sining.

Dave and melissa opening their christmas presents.  they weren't able to be there on christmas day.

Christmas

Merry Christmas.  We got some really big snow storms right before christmas.  My parents house was covered in snow!  Lloyd and I had so much fun riding around on the four wheeler.

Jacey in my favorite hat of hers.

Lloyd was so funny.  He wrapped some of the christmas presents himself.  They were not the best wrapping job, but he looked so cute while doing them.  In the background you can see our real Christmas Tree.  I had to have it put in the house even before we painted and moved in.  ha ha I LOVE Christmas!

John and Bexi and my dad Christmas morning at my Mom and Dads house.  They were reading Rian Anderson's Christmas story about the boy who wanted a riffle instead his parents used the money to buy a needy family some wood and food.  Such a good story.  We all teared up.

Jaak and I on christmas morning.

Christmas eve Lloyd and I went up north to check out a car.  We took it out on a test drive and loved it.  We bought it that night.  It was kind of rushed because everything was closed for christmas eve.  I have never written out a check for that much in my life!  Thanks Lloyd for the awesome Christmas present I LOVE it!  It is an Acura MDX.

Christmas morning face ha ha.  I love the new car.  It is fully loaded with anything you can imagine you would want in a vehicle! DVD Player, heated seats, navigation, everything electric, iphone hook ups, leather seats, sun roof, memory seats... I am sure that I am missing something.  Pretty much I feel like a queen!  I LOVE it! what a good Christmas!

John got a rubix cube for christmas.  Lloyd showed us all how to it was done.  He said he learned on the mission.

Lloyd loves loves loves strawberry milk,  he was pretty excited when santa brought him some nesquick :) !

Kristen and Mike got Lloyd and I both True Religion Jeans for christmas. Thanks Mike and Kristen!!

John and Lloyd showing off their Christmas Presents.  John got a new imac and Lloyd a new ipad.  They are both Apple Nerds. (which I don't mind because I reap the benefits)  Lloyd is always up to date with technology.  It for sure make my life a lot more convenient.  I am married to a genius!

ha ha I saw the commercials that they were running for the clappers, and said I have always wanted one of those since I was little.  I also saw the chia pet and wanted one of those.  Lloyd got me the clapper.  He didn't love the idea of an obama head as a chia pet. ha ha.  I love my clapper!  Thanks Lloyd!

Lloyd has a hard time getting rid of things.  He still had all of his t-shirts from High School.  (more than 10 years ago)  He associates them with memories... So I made him a t shirt quilt with all of them.  I worked on it while he went to Alaska the first few months.  My Mom helped me a lot making the squares all even and sewing it.  I can say the I did quilt it my self though!  Lloyd loved it!

Kristen made this quilt for our parents.  It totally trumps mine! ha ha All the kids pitched in on the quilt.  We gave my parents a bedroom make-over for Christmas.

Lloyd and I went to see the light at Temple Square right after Christmas.  It was sooo cold, but we enjoyed ourselves.

We made sure that we bundleed Jacey really good! What a fun night!

2 months old

2 Months old!

She fell asleep when I was taking these.  She looked so peaceful I left her in this pose for hours.  Jacey is such a good baby.  I call her my perfect baby.  She really is.  She has a very easy going personality.  She doesn't cry much at all.  When she does cry it is not loud, its actually kind of cute.  She sleeps a lot.  She is insanely happy all the time.  She smiles and coos at everyone she meets, but especially at her dad and mom.  She even eats cold bottles once in a while, even though she doesn't like it she will eat it.  She adapts well to change.  She also loves her baths.  I love the faces she makes!  She is already so animated!  She is such a sweetheart.

This was her 2 month check up.  She did so good.  Everything was on track.  She is average in size, length, and weighed.  She weighed 11 lbs 2 oz.  I think she was 24 inches long.  Back at her 2 WEEK appointment she actually had to get her tongue clipped.  She was tongue tied.  Lloyd is the one that noticed.  It was so hard to watch.  Lloyd and I held her while Dr. Cole clipped underneath.  I wanted to cry.  It was so sad! I can now say that she is able to stick her tongue out of her mouth.
