Adventures with Katie & Lloyd: April

Heather and Corbins Bridals. It was so windy outside. We took these on our way back from Arizona. We were running out of daylight and we only had this day to take them. It was quite the experience. We made it work. This is one of the pictures from the shoot. We got some good close ups. He had to find refuge in a cave. They turned out great! I love this picture. I am glad we went through with the shoot!

April was a really fun month. We spent a lot of time traveling around. We had a great time with Kristen and the kids here. We went and visited a lot of Kristen's friends. (I call them my friends to) She hangs out with some awesome peeps! We visited Angela, Brittany, Jamie, Tara, Lindsay, Grandma Stephenson, Ben and Ang... I hope that I am not missing anyone. Needless to say we spent a lot of time in the car. The kids traveled really well. Thanks to the movie "Toy Story 3." Ha ha Kev just wanted to Watch it over and over and over! I am pretty sure that I have it memorized by now. When we weren't listening to the movie us grown ups got to listen to DRIVEN the book. We all enjoyed it. It is for sure a good read!

These are Jacey's 6 month pics. It was to cold to take them in Fairview so I took them when we were down in the St George area. Jacey loves the camera. When ever I pull it out she automatically smiles. Its like she knows.

The clothes that she is waring were all from my Grandma Stephenson. Some of the outfits were from her children and some were actually my Grandpas.

She Just started doing this. She will get really focused on one little detail and just sit there for a long time studying it. It is so much fun to watch her learning.

We went to Arizona to visit Ben and Ang. We went crazy with the camera. We took a lot of pictures when we were there. Here are some of Jacey and I down town AJO.

We also did family pictures. Lloyd is such a good sport.

Like I said Lloyd is such a good sport. :) ha ha He sometimes gets the undaunting task of holding my shoes. I would have to run back and forth from the camera to where we were taking the pictures to set it up. Running in high heals just doesn't work. Lloyd seriously is so wonderful! I try to tell him that every day!

When we were in Arizona we went to the Zoo, The Aquarium, The Park, We had a blast! Spending time with family is priceless!

Kristen Paisley and Kevin. Ha ha notice there matching hats. Poor Kev. He is the only Boy and we needed a hat to keep his face out of the sun. Yes once again he had to ware a girl hat. There have been many other occasions he could be caught waring a pink jacket or a purple coat... Hopefully he doesn't look back at these pictures and have a complex.

Red Tail Boa. Yes I had one of these. What was I thinking. It could have eaten Jacey in one bite. They get so big! Thanks Lloyd for making me get rid of it. The boy that bought it at the yard sale is probably taking good care of Pete. geeez I really can't believe I had one of these.

The Giraffes's were my favorite part of the whole trip!!!!

It was amazing to see them up that close, and to touch their tongues. Yuck! They weren't slimy or anything. They were just a mile long and really rough. It felt a lot like sandpaper, but rougher.

We did some Glam shot of Kristen while we were there. Lauren Alaina from American Idol inspired Kristen's hair doe. We added in my extensions and everything. We dressed her up in my clothes and we went out looking for a cool spot to do the pics. Ajo is full of fun places!

She is soooo pretty and soooo photogenic!

We also did some of Ang. We found this car parked in someones driveway. We went and asked if we could take some pictures by it. She was a nice lady. Awesome car!! Ang is working the border patrol. ;)

She is also VERY pretty and photogenic. I didn't have to say much at all. We had a really good time!

While we were in arizona we went to a bunch of thrift stores. They were full of awesome treasures! We dressed up crazy and took some pics. I found some Madonna worthy boots from the 80's. white lace... you know what I am talking about. Ang knows how to find a bargain! We stayed with Ben and Ang for a week. It was hard to leave when it was time to go home. We had so much fun and are looking forward to our next visit down on the Border.

Easter was fun. This year we spent it in Fairview with the Anderson side. We wanted to do it out to the Rock so that Kristen and the kids would get to experience it. Kristen said it had been a really long time since she has been out to the Big Rock. Well just our luck it rained that day. We decided to do our picnic in the church gym. Dave suggested that we do our easter egg hunt in the dark with flashlights to make it a little challenging. So that is what we did. Kristen Mom and I stuffed the eggs earlier on in the week. Grandma Anderson bought all the candy for it. We hid the eggs in the gym. I had John and Bexi and a few other cousins make a maze with the chairs. ha ha We were creative. then we turned off all the lights and let the kids loose. It was fun to see all the flashlight beaming all around. It was an easter to remember.

We went to St. George a few days later. While we were there we did Easter pics of the kids. We always have fun when we are there. Maryann is so welcoming. This is Jacey and Jax. They are a week apart.
