ALASKA!!! Lloyd and I went to Alaska for the summer. I told him that it was a place I wanted to visit, so he decided that he would go and sell alarms there and we could make a summer vacation out of it. We met some awesome people along the way. I would love to go back and take all the family! The wild life there is amazing. We saw bald eagles, ducks, caribou, moose, deer, elk, black bears, and Kodiak grizzly bears, all kinds of salmon, Halibut, rain deer, and muskox, mountain goats, white horned sheep. I am sure we saw other animals, but I can't remember at the moment. Pretty much it is an outdoors mans dream!
Lloyd and I in a random canoe. This was our first canoe ride together. :) I love Canoeing.
Aubrie and Chris Eastman. I did their Engagement photos while we were in Alaska. Aubrie flew out to Fairbanks for four days. They are both so much fun! What a cute couple!
While we were in Fairbanks we went to Chena Hot Springs, and a dog sled place close by. We met a girl that does the Iditarod Race and has won it many times. These are some of her dogs. No Lloyd is not choking it. He was holding it up :) The dogs are a lot skinnier than I thought. In the movies they always show really husky thick dogs. But it is the skinny lengthy ones that last longer in the race. The race is where mushers and teams of typically 16 dogs cover 1,161 miles (1,868 km) in nine to fifteen days from Willow (near Anchorage) to Nome.

Us together at China Hot Springs. I found out later that I wasn't supposed to get in. The minerals and the heat from the water were intense! I was so tired after only being in the water for a few mins.
We went to the University of Alaska. They had Caribou there. It was fun to see them up close. We had seen them in the wild as well.
This is a muskox. It was also on the University of Alaska Campus. They are pretty much goats that look like buffalo. They are almost as small as a goat.
Lloyd was so excited to see the Alaskan pipeline. He made us all go with him to see it. :) The Pipeline goes all the way through Alaska vertically, more than 800 miles. something like a million dollars worth of oil flow through it in one hour...
Lloyd took this picture! I love it.
