24th of July in Fairview

We spent the first part of the week camping for the 24th and the weekend in Fairview.  This was taken in front of Grandma Anderson's house.

Paisley wanting to share her sucker with this little guy. ha ha she was so cute.  I helped her and Nya get their candy at the parade.

Lloyd and I sang at Fairview Idol.  We (mostly Lloyd) wrote a different words to the song "some day we'll know"  from a Walk to Remember.   The song was about fairview.  It talked about the traditions and how close Fairview is to being like heaven.  We even mentioned the Derby... it was the 25th year anniversary, and 150 years anniversary for Fairview... We didn't win but we got a lot of compliments.  Lloyd wrote the song the night before we struggled with a few words.  The family of 6 that won were very cute.

All of us at the derby that night.  The derby was a good one.  The fire works were amazing.
We had a barbecue as always at my parents right before the derby.  People look forward to that every year.   My Dad can really make a good steak!!!
