We went on a caribbean Cruise. It was by far the BEST vacation I have even been on. Lloyd did such a good job. I told him I wanted to go somewhere warm. He did the rest. He surprised me. He didn't tell me where we were going until a few days before. (only because he couldn't wait any longer... and he wanted me to pack appropriately.)
Dun River Falls In Jamaica. Where the fresh water funs off into the sea. We walked up the water fall. it was beautiful! Jamaica was pretty. The people on the streets there were very pushy wanting us to buy things.
One of the formal nights. Everyone has to have a cheesy cruise photo right :)
Casual night glamor shot :) ha ha
Summing with the dolphins in Jamaica. Our dolphins name was Pepe. They are such smart animals. His skin felt almost like rubber. They let us ride Pepe. We grabbed on to his fins and off we went. The instructor threw a ring into the water and less than 2 seconds later Pepe was back with the ring. Then the instructor told him to give it to the person that was pregnant. He brought it right to me. Pepe stayed in front of me until I took the ring from him. I wasn't pregnant but it was a funny joke.
We loved the Caiman Islands! we went snorkeling there. The fish were bright and colorful. It was AMAZING!
In the Caimans we also got to go to Sting Ray City. We traveled by boat out into the ocean. There was a sand bar where the sting rays gathered. It all started when fishermen dumped there unwanted fish remains there... the sting rays came to feed and never left. We swam with hundreds of them. I would hold little squid in my hand to feed the sting rays, instantly there were five sting rays swimming towards me. I feared for my life and ran for lloyd. Our guide reassured us that they were all nice sting rays... :)
We scuba dived in Cozemel Mexico. One of the BEST Scuba places in the World. It for sure was better than and Sand Hollow where I certified. There was actually visibility in the ocean :) This was the only picture we got. We asked one of the guys to hand us our camera. He threw it to us and it went down down down into the depth of the ocean, lloyd dove under after it. He took a picture as he was coming up... good thing it was water proof. The fish we saw were unbelievable. We even saw a big yellow eel that was bigger than both of us. We also saw a bunch of colorful fish and plant life. My fear of the water was still prominent, but as long as I held Lloyds hand I was fine. Once I relaxed it was almost felt like we were flying.
Love it Katie!
